SUPER TANK POKER

Image

I’m pleased to be able to say that Super Tank Poker is the game I’ve been working on for the past couple of months. It’s still a little way of being completed but I’ve nailed down most of what the game will be and so I am comfortable showing you a few screens from the game.

Image

The game itself is a fusion of traditional turn based tactics game and a poker game. You must position your tanks on the battlefield to gain the advantage and then do combat with cards. Each tank has it’s own pool of chips which represents that tanks health and ability to do battle.

The game has a large world map to explore and many battles to take part in against many different opponents all of whom have different strengths, weaknesses and play styles.

Super Tank Poker will be releasing first on PSM.

I hope for you to be enjoying Super Tank Poker soon.

  • Equip weapons and drones in one of 4.2 million combinations
  • Meet all sorts of characters on ‘Shuttle Station 8’
  • Play unlimited random missions with ‘Custom Flight Plans’

I’m pleased to be able to say that Shuttle Quest 2000 has been submitted for PSM review today. If all goes well you will be able to play the game in 2-3 weeks. I am going to take a short break from smashing my head against a keyboard and go away for a while.

When I come back I will be right back at the grindstone with some new projects. Some more PSM might be on the cards and there may be some other new things too.

I hope you’re looking forward to Shuttle Quest 2000!┬áHere are some screen shots from the final version of the game:

First screens from Shuttle Quest 2000

Here are the first screens from the latest development build of ShuttleQuest2000. Here you can see the player exploring shuttle station 8 and fighting in a few of the very early missions in the game. There are even some shots of the game’s first megaship.

Shuttle Quest 2000 is a blend of side scrolling shooter and craft-em-up RPG. Use money and resources earned/found on missions to buy and craft bigger and better weapons to help win the war against the evil robot empire.

As you can see the game is in a “retro 4 color” style and very strictly adheres to this. I hope you like green!

Shuttle quest is on track to get finished in the next couple of weeks. I hope to have it in your hands ready for some shooty-shooty RPG action in about a month and a half.

Sea Run and Floribund out on PSM Today!

All the TACS PSM games in one place.

My two latest games have been released to the world on the PSM store today. I hope you’ll check them out.

Sea Run is a Gameboy style infinite runner and Floribund is a match 3 puzzle game. Both are styles of game which are wildly popular on mobile and I’ve wanted to give them a try for a while. They’re both as cheap as a game can be on PSM so check one out, why not?

This marks the release of the 8&9th TACS PSM games. This is enough to fill up a whole page of Vita icons (when you include the dev tool icon too, which I do ;)).

I’m hard at work right now on game number 10 but numbers 11 & 12 are both part way done too. In addition I spent yesterday adding a whole bunch of new features to Radiant Flux which should come out in an update in a couple of weeks or so.

Thanks for your support in my adventures in Playstation Mobile. I hope you like the new games and the games that are to come.

SEA RUN approved for PSM

Sea Run title screenMore good news! Sea run has been approved for PSM release last night while I slept.

If you haven’t seen it before it’s a game about running along a beach. The little guy can jump too and even use his parasol to glide gently back to the ground. Collect the coins, ice lollies and avoid the obstacles. It’s in a gameboy style too!

This is a little game that I created a little while ago but didn’t know how to proceed with. Thanks for all the feedback, it really helped shape the game that’s now getting a release.

I hope you’ll check it out when the time comes. It may even be out on the PSM store next week.

Floribund approved for PSM

Floribund TitleOne of my new games has been approved for PSM!

Floribund is a match-three puzzle game. There are two modes and they’re both quite different. One is a calculated move-by-move game over which you can take your time and could, if you play right, go on forever. The other is a frantic points-all-over-the-place time trial mode.

There is one more feature worth talking about; You can use your device’s camera to take a photograph and this will replace the most powerful item in the game. Ever wanted your face to be a power-up in a game? Now you can.

It will be available in the PSM store in the next couple of weeks, in the mean time why not check out the screen shots here and tell me what you think.

I’m trying to keep this stuff quiet ’til approval to prevent me announcing stuff that’s not going to get finished or that might change before it comes out. Let me know if this is working for you or if you’d rather I just came out with what I’m working on.
